Wood Carving is more than a hobby for me. It's a passion, an
expression of myself displayed onto my work. In this album, I've assembled photographs of my most recent project (18
hole Golf Course - Walking Stick/Cane).
On the following pages you will see a tree limb found in a ditch
near Duluth, MN that I transformed into a Walking Stick/Cane. The design is a complete 18
Hole Golf Course (my design) with everything you might expect to see on a real course, ie...undulating
greens, rough, sand traps, elevated tees, walking paths and numerous trees. The time necessary to complete this
project to its finished state was approximately 75 hours. It has been finished with natural wood stains and a high gloss polyeurethane
coating.
